Discover Matanzas the capital of the Cuban province of Matanzas. It was also called "La Atenas de Cuba" ("The Athens of Cuba") for its poets and is known as the birthplace of the music and dance traditions danzón and rumba.

The Bellamar Caves are considered to be one of the oldest tourist attractions in Cuba, explore the impressive halls and galleries filled with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, krastic crystals, underground streams, fountains, crystallized domes, and some other unique limestone formations. Indigenous paintings and fossils have also been found here.
